GREAT NEWS: I just got off the phone with Shannon Wyatt, a customer service representative with Waste Industries. She sent me a proposal for new trash removal and recycle services for Mansion Farm. If you sign a one year contract with them she is offering a rate of $63 per quarter per household. If you are a senior she is offering $4.50 per quarter discount. If you prepay for the service for the year she will discount it even further by a 5% reduction. This means that a senior who prepays for one year would pay $222.40 A non senior who prepays for the year would pay $239.40 For existing customers the rates will also be lowered to these discounted amounts. She will be sending out a letter to existing customers to notify them of the rate drop for Mansion Farm homeowners. Still waiting for rate talks with two other waste removal companies. I will post all results when I have received bids from everyone. In the meanwhile please share with your neighbors.

We are current customers of Republic Services. We currently opted for a special offer to lock in a monthly rate for each of the next 3yrs. Year 1: $30/mo., Year 2: $31.50/mo, Year 3: $33.08/mo. This includes weekly trash (96 gal), recycle (64 gal) and yard waste/organic (96 gal) pick-up.

We received a web request from you inquiring about new service.  I have enclosed a quote below
that briefly describes our services and our prices.  Please note that even if you filled out your
information on the website to start service, one of our CSR’s will still need to contact you by
phone to set up your service and speak to you directly. If you decide to start service with our
company, please call our office at (302)378-5400 to go over your pickup days and take your pre-
payment over the phone.


Residential Waste Removal Quote
We can offer you a rate of $23 per month this includes:
?‚· Trash pickup once per week curbside
?‚· Recyclable pickup every other week curbside

?‚· Trash pickup once per week, Recyclable pickup every other week and Yard Waste
pickup every other week is $32.25 per month.
                       
Other possible discounts:
?‚· 5% discount for paying a year in advance
 
Trash Service includes the following: One time per week service at the curb with a 95 gallon
wheeled container.  Carts are generally delivered before your first pickup. 
 
Single-stream recycling service includes the following:  Every other week service with your
choice of a 96 or 65 gallon wheeled container (in addition to the 96 gallon wheeled container
provided for your waste removal at the curb).  Please place newspapers, junk mail, cardboard,
glass (all colors), plastic bottles, aluminum and tin cans, mixed and loose in the container.   We
can service a Delaware Solid Waste Authority container if you have one.
 
Yard waste service includes the following: We offer and every other week service of up to 10
bags/bundles per pick up at the curb.  It is $9.25 per month. Branches must be bundled in five
foot lengths or less.  Bags/containers of yard waste must be twenty pounds or less each. 
Additional bags/bundles will be charged at $2.50 each. 

Special and on-call pickups for large quantities are available in addition to the regular service
plan.  Please call for individual pricing.
 
Billing is quarterly.  Automated payment plans are available.  Payments can also be made
through your bank’s bill payment service, at our web site, by calling our office with a credit,
debit card or by mailing a check or money order. 
 
We do not charge a separate fuel surcharge; however, there is a one-time $40.00 cart delivery
fee.  Please call or email if you have any further questions.  Customer Service is able to schedule
these services now.
