Mansion Farm

Waste Industries Pricing

Posted in: Mansion Farm

Hi All,

We are new the neighborhood and recently set up a Waste Industries account. Currently paying their standard pricing.

My wife recently called Waste Industries asking about the Mansion Farms 2020 pricing. She was told they do not have Mansion Farms on record.

Is there a step we're missing here? It's about $16 a quarter difference so it's not the end of the world, but why pay it if the neighborhood has a group rate?

Any help would be great!

Hello and welcome to the neighborhood.

I am a board member and the person who has negotiated a rate decrease from Waste Industries for the development for the past two years. Each year it expires and requires contact from a board member to make a change (this is what I was told by a homeowner who contacted them last year).

Although this is NOT something that any board members are required to do, I am happy to make the contact to try to benefit our development. I did just make the call to waste industries this morning and was told that they would take a look at our accounts and that she would send me a proposal soon. She said we could either accept or reject it. I will post the information from their proposal here once I receive it.

I just received that quote from Waste Industries. I will post the entire document I received onto the website soon...but the basic quote is as follows:

Waste Industries, based in Townsend DE, is pleased to offer Mansion Farms Community the following quote to provide solid waste and recycling services!!

By signing a 1 year Service Agreement with our company, we can offer your community the following rates:

• $65.00 per quarter per household to include 1 time per week trash service and every other week recycling service.

Other possible discounts available:

• $4.50 per quarter for seniors
• 5% discount for paying a year in advance
• Additional discounts may be available for Communities where the HOA assumes responsibilty for the bill and in turn bills their residents directly.
I hope this helps!
