I have noticed a few dogs walking with owners and not on leashes. My little dog was approached by a big pitt bull one day which really frightened us. So now we dont walk her anymore in fear of something like that going wrong. There needs to be a contact person for such things and it needs to be enforced!
Speeding:
We have lived in the neighborhood for years and over the years i have contacted the police regarding speeding in our neighborhood. Only one time did they respond and put a cop on our street to catch speeders. That lasted a few days and I have not seen another since.
Do you realize that at the speed cars go down our streets if an animal or person were to get hit there is NO way they would survive. The morons go so fast and they are endangering the children in Maplewood and the animals.
I do not understand why NOTHING has been done! Why is this accepted? There are ways to fix the problem but I guess when they kill somone then maybe yall will do somthing about it?
We need speed bumps on the 3 main streets for sure. Maplewood, Dogwood and Redwood. I think Maplewood is probably the worst. I am so scared when the kids are outside playing. They are old enough to know not to run in the street but accidents happen and I promise you at the speed these idiots go if they ever hit someone they will die.
Why cant we have speed bumps or speeding cameras?
