MVCC Board Meeting on 6/10/2003

Director Maritza Przekop, chair of the MVCC Urban Design Committee, reported on the Taco Bell Drive Through proposal. The Board deferred action pending the filing of a revised plan by Taco Bell.

The Board decided to set up three new standing committees as follows:
a Safety and Security Committee to be chaired by MVCC Director Rob Kadota,.
an Outreach Committee to be chaired by MVCC 2nd Chair, Evelyn Dravecky, and
an Elections Committee also chaired by Evelyn Dravecky.

Director Amanda Seward brought On-Location Filming to the attention of the Board, which then heard various opinions on the effect of this activity on the neighborhood and on the economy of the City.

The Board decided by majority vote to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at future meetings.
