I had a bad experience with Albracht's Heating and Air Conditioning Company today and hope I can help someone else avoid the same situation.
My air conditioner wouldn't turn on or cool. I called Albracht's because they have always done the service on both our units, heat and air. The technician was here for 3 hrs and basically told me I needed a new air conditioning unit and adviced me to replace my furnace also, because the coolant had dripped down onto the furnace and created alot of damage to it. I queried him about several things, picked up on some inconsistencies and told him I was going to get another opinion. Later this afternoon, another company tech came out and inspected both units. My total bill came to $177 and everything is working beautifully. Albracht's was suggesting I needed approximately $7000 worth of work. Apparently, this company has been sold to a national company, One Hour, and I don't think they can be trusted. Please be aware and don't call them for any service work.
