Marlborough Mesa

Marlborough Neighbors,
On 11-22-00 there was a car stolen from Beverly Circle. It was a 1964 white Buick Electra in the process of being restored. If you have seen this car or have any information, please call the Mesa Police Department at 480-644-2211.

In addition, on 11-19-00 there was a car break-in on the 3000 block of Spruce. The thieves were only able to get the car unlocked and remove the registration and car manuel and some other valuables from the glove compartment. They were not able to steal the car.

This MUST BE THE SEASON -- so WATCH YOUR VEHICLES.

The December Newsletter will be out before the end of November. The ''Newsletter Elves'' will be delivering those to your doorstep sometime this week. The Traffic Study results will be in there and this will be our FIRST-EVER Marlborough Toy Drive. The newsletter will also be online sometime today.

Good News and Bad News

The Buick Electra was recovered at the Desert Schools Credit Union. Unfortunatly, the vehicle was damaged extensively by what appears to be and intentional collision. The only coverage my son had was liability so it will be a long time before he will be able to drive his car. The police think it is some teens from the neighborhood that took it for a joy ride. If anyone saw anything between 12:30am and 9:00Am on Tanksgiving morning it sure would help to bring the persons to justice and have the damages paid for.

One more break-in

Just today I found out that in the 800 block of Posada there was yet another car break-in. Valuables were taken, cell phone, etc.

It appears this area is really under target right now! Are we being too lax in our thinking? This has always been a pretty ''safe'' neighborhood -- everyone TRY to WATCH for anything ''different'' and don't be afraid to call police at 480-644-2211.
