Sewer construction started Jan 25th on 14th and 104th Ave. A green 8'' pipe was laid down 14' deep under the street. The purpose of this pipe is to provide sewer to the NUTTER development on 9th street and 205. The notification for this project was a blue sign posted on the Nature park, a warning about cutting trees down in our Tranquility Nature Area. But no warnings about street construction. Anyhow the construction continued eastbound along 14th St to 108th Ave. It has turned the corner already as is now along 108th Ave Past 11th St. Construction vehicals, trucks, machines are still parked there until they complete to 9th St. Plans then are to install a sewage area of some type in the Nature Area on 14th St. A notice was placed on homes of 14th street Feb 1st notifing an option to put sewage laterals installation. However this notice came after the street has been already filled in and repaired. Joe from the George Schmidt company will call me when he finds out how much the cost of sewer will be? He says he has to come out and look at it. If anyone has more information on this, please update.
Thanks, -Erik
