MARTINIQUE CONDOMINIUM RULES

GENERAL

Smoking is permitted only inside a unit or on its balcony.

Shoes or other items shall not be placed or stored on the walkways.

Beach and swimming attire should be worn with a cover-up in the elevators and lobby. For liability purposes, footwear must be worn to and from pool area.

Eating, drinking and littering of any kind is prohibited in the lobby, elevators, walkways and common indoor areas other than clubroom.

Any activity, which is disturbing to others, dangerous or may damage the property, is prohibited.

POOL & SPA

Pool and spa rules are posted at several locations around the pool area and will be enforced. Pool hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Children under 12 years must be supervised by an adult at all times. Parents are responsible for the conduct and safety of their minority aged children and guests at all times.

Children under 12 years old are not permitted in the spa. CAUTION: Water temperature is maintained at 105 degrees.

Children who are not toilet trained and/or wear diapers must wear protective pants.

No food or drinks are permitted while in the pool or spa.

No breakable containers are permitted anywhere on the pool patio. Should glass breakage occur, the possibility of glass entering the poll necessitates that the pool be drained and refilled at unit owner?’s expense.

No diving, running, rough play or throwing any objects (frisbees, balls, etc.).

Floats, boogie boards and remote control toys are not allowed in the pool. Fun noodles and life vests are permitted.

To prevent staining, cover pool furniture with a towel when sunbathing.

All pool gates must be locked at all times for safety and security of children. Climbing on or jumping over fences is not permitted.



Please keep off the sand dune/sea oat sections of the beach, as these are protected areas.

BALCONIES

During the hurricane season, if the unit will be vacant more than two days, all items are to be removed from balcony and open lanais.

It is prohibited to hang garments, rugs, towels, bathing suits and similar items from windows, balconies, lanais or other common elements of the building.

It is prohibited to throw cigarettes, cigars or any other object from balconies. lanais or windows.

EXERCISE ROOM

Use of the exercise equipment is at your own risk, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please observe the list of rules posted on the south wall of the exercise room.

GARAGE & PARKING

Guests must only park outside and are forbidden to park in the garage except in the event that an owner?’s vehicle is absent from the property. In this instance, only the guest (displaying the appropriate permit) may park in the owner?’s assigned garage space.

Trucks exceeding the limits of a marked parking space, boats, trailers, jet skis, mobile homes, or RVs are not permitted on the property. Above mentioned vehicles will be towed at owner?’s expense.

All vehicles must be parked within the designated lines of the space.

Skateboarding, roller-blading and bike riding are prohibited in the garage and on the condominium property.

PETS

A maximum of one pet, weighing up to 60 pounds, is allowed. Pets must be walked on the grass inside or outside of the fence line that borders the condominium property.

Animals are not allowed in the pool/spa area or on the beach.

A city ordinance and these condominium rules require unit owners and renters or guests to clean up after their pets.
