Martinique Member?’s Annual Meeting
Board President, Kevin Lindahl called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Board members present were: Kevin Lindahl, Ed Knudsen, and Kathy Gautsch
A quorum of association members was met: 15 Proxy and 5 in Attendance, for a total of 20 units represented. As notified earlier, three applications were received to fill the five Board of Directors vacancies; therefore they automatically become Board Members without the need of an election. The 2004 Board of Directors is:
?· Alan Byrne
?· Ed Knudsen
?· Kathy Gautsch
The minutes of the February 21, 2004 Board of Directors meeting were approved as submitted.
Reports of Officers
A list of projects and accomplishments by 2003-4 Board of Directors was presented by outgoing president, Kevin Lindahl and is attached to these minutes

Reports of Committees
Grounds and Maintenance
?· The committee is currently in the process of having flowers planted in the front of the building and an update will be given when construction is completed and everyone is back.
Unfinished Business
?· All unit owners who are selling their units are reminded that it is their responsibility to provide the Board of Directors all pertinent information prior to the sale. This information must be submitted to the Board for approval prior to the sale or it could be termed ?“invalid.?”
?· Mike Short inquired about the status of repairs needed on the roof. We have been waiting for Allen Green to respond and Eddie Knudsen will call Allen Green this week to follow up.
New Business
The new board will pursue options for those owners who wish to have their balconies refinished.
The new board will consider a suggestion to carpet the ?“cart?” area in the garage as a preventative measure to keep the walkways clean and dry.
Kevin Lindahl adjourned the meeting at 7:35 p.m.

This is a summary of some of the projects that were completed by the Board of Directors during the March 2003-March 2004 term. A sincere thank you to all Board members and members of the association who assisted in making the Martinique a better place to live.
Exhaust fan in garage replaced
Security code on front door changed-No cost
Hinges on roof door replaced-No cost
Shower handles at pool replaced
Memo holders placed in elevators
New flowers purchased for lobby
Vent replacement project completed on south wall-No cost
Approximately 900 plants planted in our dunes-No cost
Daily to annual cleaning/maintenance schedule instituted-No cost
Building emergency lighting log created-No cost
Walkway project near completion
Window project progressed and is being reviewed by our attorney
Many delaminated cabinets replaced-No cost
Pool signs revised to meet State code
East wall of building & walls/doors at pool area painted
Additional elevator pads purchased to protect stainless interior walls
New lanterns installed on front of building
New floor mats purchased for lobby
North & south walls of building painted by Allen Green Construction-No cost
Abbreviated rules laminated and given to owners
Timer installed on spa to save energy
Bill paying method computerized for online payment
Men?’s/Ladies?’ restroom signs at pool replaced
Umbrella and table purchased for pool area
Lock boxes installed on pool heaters
New holiday decorations purchased
Poinsettia plants planted for holiday season
Television mounted in Fitness Room
Service Request & Entry Notice forms created
Waste management service improved by changing companies
Otis Elevator service contract extended to retain current rate
Dune walkover pressure cleaned, stained and sealed
Safety railings on dune walkover installed
Damaged lounge chairs at pool re-strapped
New janitorial/maintenance service hired
Dead palm trees removed and new palm trees planted
Three emergency lights in stairwells replaced
Television & stand for the Club Room donated by the Knudsens
Two missing sprinkler heads in units 502 & 603 installed-No cost
A Welcome Committee for new owners was formed
