Minutes from June 30, 2003 Special Meeting Board of Directors


Kevin Lindahl called the meeting to order at 7:00pm

Board Members present were: Kevin Lindahl, Alan Byrne, Eddie Knudsen, Kathy Gautsch

Special Assessment

Alan Byrne reviewed the costs for the walkway replacement project. Estimated cost, less the $20,000 in reserve for this project, equals $46,448.70. The share per owner is $1,935.33.

A motion was made and passed to have the assessment total $2,000 per unit with $1,000 due on August 1, 2003 and $1,000 due on September 15, 2003.

There will be a 10 day grace period, as with our maintenance fees, with a standard 18% late charge applied.

Work may start around August 1. Our attorney is drawing up the contract.

A motion was made and passed to accept the recommendation of the walkway committee selection of color for the walkway.

A package will be mailed to all unit owners to include a letter of explanation regarding the project, a voting ballot, pictures of the proposed color and assessment form. The letter will include the fact that a unit not voting will automatically vote for the color of the existing walkway.

The walkway committee will call owners to answer any questions and ask for their ballot to be returned via mail or fax.

A motion was made and passed to adjourn the meeting at 7:45.
