Massanetta Springs Cottage Community

We are the Massanetta Springs Cottage Owners Association located east of Harrisonburg, VA adjacent to the Massanetta Springs Presbyterian Camp and Conference Center. We were formally formed and incorporated in the year 2000 when the Conference Center sold off the lots we formerly leased from them. All of our 54 properties are now privately owned and zoned R-5 by Rockingham County.

Many of our cottages were originally seasonal, church owned cottages built to house children and adults during the summer camp and conference season. Today, most have been extensively renovated or completely rebuilt into modest, year around homes. We love our quiet, slow community and remain closely affiliated with the Conference Center around which we live. Many residents volunteer in various capacities to help the Conference Center or the Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community which is also adjacent to us.

We have swimming priveleges in the Conference Center Pool when it is open for conferences unless it is scheduled for training events or children's Camp use.  We can also walk the trails in and around the Conference Center (no dogs permited on their grounds) and fish in their lake (throw back only).
