My husband and I do a food packing for the poor at St. Martin of Tours parish near Westfield's Valley Fair every 3rd Friday of the month. What is missing from what is given to the poor is fresh fruit. There are so many people who have fruit trees in our mid century neighborhood! How can we organize an effort in helping people who don't ever use all the fruit they grown to share it with the poor? There is some much vitamin
C in lemons! I would be willing to walk and leave a notice on every door on Ridgeley
drive. Help pick the fruit and even pick it up. Anyone interested in helping with this effort?
