At the last board meeting these were the questions I needed answers to
properly coordinate events with Neighborhood Watch and the Social Committee.
I hope this will answer some questions.
Ann
In reference to the board meeting scheduled for February 20th, 2006 at 6:30.
I would like to request that these questions be put on the agenda for discussion:
1. Would it be possible to get a schedule on the Mayfair board meetings for the year?
That way there would be no conflict in scheduling Neighborhood Watch Meetings
and Mayfair Board Meetings.
2007
The Board will meet in May, Aug. and Sept. (dates to be announced)
NHW will meet March, June, July and Oct. (dates to be announced)
2. Is anyone interested in doing a Community Garage Sale, pool party at the
Club and/or Taste of Mayfair and how will we finance these events?
Community Garage Sale will be held 4/21/07 - The same day as the Club?’s
No one seemed to be interested in having a Pool Party at the club
The Taste of Mayfair will be held 5/20/07 - We will handle the cost as before.
3. The Mayfair web site, newsletter?…. One, both or none??
Once the new property management is in place in May the board will decide
on what type of a web site to have and whether or not to do a news letter. At
this time we will continue with our present web site. We have not had a news
letter in over a year.
4. Are we keeping the following:
a. E-mail tree
b. Social Committee
c. Neighborhood Watch
d. Mayfair directory
e. Welcoming new residents
We will continue to do these things. Board member Sheri Lyn Kolle asked that
when using the e-mail tree people not use it as a sounding board. It needs to be
used as a information center not a gripe center. If residences have a problem
they should contact the board.
5. Will it be possible for residents to request a copy of the minutes of the
Board Meetings?
Minutes from the board meetings will be available upon request. Contact
Lyn Acer (secretary) for a copy.
