TREE TRIMMING SUMMER 2010
Dear Neighbors,
Your HOA has contracted with Cornerstone for a one-time tree trimming in front yards and common areas. Our basic landscaping contract, as in prior contracts, includes trimming trees up to 10 feet from the ground; but full trimming and thinning has become necessary as the trees have aged. We expect cleaning up the trees will reduce the amount of shade on the lawns and improve the growth of grass in those areas.
The job requires special equipment and will begin toward the end of this week, most likely on Thursday. Weather permitting, it will take approximately one full week to complete.
***You may want to make sure you leave your car in a safe place when they're getting close to your house.
***Cornerstone has advised they will not work on a tree that has hanging items, such as bird feeders, plants, etc. Also, potted plants, statues, decorative items, etc., at or around the base of a tree will have to be removed by you prior to their trimming the tree.
***Trimming of backyard trees is optional. As trees vary in size, there are different prices for small, medium, and large trees. Anyone wishing to obtain a quote for backyard trees, do this:
(1) Submit a work order request as soon as possible to Cass. Please be sure to use the new work order form attached to this email.
(2) Cornerstone will provide a quote to you. If you are not home at the time, the quote will be left at your front door in an envelope.
(3) If you agree, sign the quote sheet and attach your payment in the form of a check payable to Mayfair Neighborhood Association. Submit both items to Cass. Please note on the check "For: BACKYARD TREES" as your payments for this additional work must be kept separate from fees paid.
Please contact any board member if you have any questions. Thanks for your cooperation!
