McIntyre Matters

All,  With the election for our next two Board seats upon us. I feel that this would be a good time for change. I have served faithfully and to the best of my abilities the past several years on the Board and the past two as President. I've tried to lead McIntyre in a way to position itself as one of the better neighborhoods in this area. The past year has been a particularly trying one for me professionally and personally. I've tried to keep on "pushing " but have found it increasingly more and more difficult to maintain that motivation and drive needed to continue in the position as your President of the McIntyre HOA. I will formally address the community tomorrow night at our annual meeting regarding this. There are several worthy candidates running with that breath of fresh air the community so badly needs. If I don't get the opportunity I would like to "Thank" everyone whom has given me and McIntyre there unconditional support over the years. I am sad to hear that you will no longer be moving forward as our President if I understand your posting correctly.  You have been a great asset to our community and I wish you would continue to serve as our President.  This is a trying community and you have stood strong.  I hope if someone else steps up for president they too will have the presence, endurance and leadership ability you have possessed. Even though I am sure not too many people tell you how important  you have been to our community many of us feel you have been. Please continue to be an active part of the Commitees. I am afraid of where we would be if not for you and the many others who actively stay involved  to make our community a better place. I have realized it takes many to move a mountain and I plan to be involved as much as I can going forward.

BJ had given much thought to stepping down as president of the board, but announced at the annual meeting on October 28 that he would remain as president.
