I agree gated entrances give residents a pseudo sense of security. Residents are usually given a code, and the code is usually passed to friends,family, friends of friends etc etc. And as more homeowners are moving and renting their homes, how effective can a security gate realistically be?
We as residents need to be more aware of whats going on our block and streets. We have to be eyes and ears of the community, CMPD cant patrol the neighborhood and all the other communities in the city. So we ask our residents to be more mindful of suspicious activities or anything that looks anywhere near suspicious and CALL 911 immediately!
As homeowners in the neighborhood we all need to step up and do our part in making MCINTYRE BEAUTIFUL and SAFE community
