Oh, for crying out loud Bellemeade!!!  They are just asking for your help, and, yes, the way I read your comments your drawers were in a wad, still are.  Apparently, it does matter where it happened or they and I would not be wishing you had been neighborly enough to share that with us.  Bellemeade runs from Wood Road to Shelby campus and from Whipps Millroad to Shelbyville Road, so to say it happened it the area is incomplete information.  What good is that?   Are you forgetting that many people do not have computers?  It is rather difficult to read this website without one. 

That lady is FAR from dumb by the way.  And, your sarcastic remark about camo IS dumb!!!!!!!  If you don't want to help with the watch, then just go it on your own without denigrating those who care about their neighbors enough to contact their watch captain on a timely basis.   Get over yourself.

I read where you admonished kitty about reading earlier; why don't you read your first sentence and figure out what you meant to say because I can't.  Let's all try to get along and when you tell a story, tell the whole story, today.

Neighborhood Watch is just neighbors helping neighbors.  It is NOT a bunch of sneaky petes, seal wanna-bes, vigilantes, black-ops characters as you implied with you camo remark.  We are all concerned residents spending a lot of time with no pay (and often no thanks) trying to organize Neighborhood Watch and keep it running after several failed attempts to organize it through Bellemeade City Government. We have now re-organized it as a citizen organized, citizen operated endeavor.  We all also have families, professions, and things to do, many of which often get put on the back burner.  We assist the police by being the eyes and ears of the community in an effort to deter crime. 

You have a husband and wife team who live in the 100 block of Bellemeade Road that serve as your Area Captains.  Your block has two dedicated gentlemen who serve as Block Captain and Alternate.  You are invited to participate in this project.  You are invited to to get involved in helping us attain our goal to help Bellemeade continue to be a safe community.

Pajown is the only person who responded politely and how one should respond. This Kitty lady is nagging and getting on me for what she thinks posting protocal should be? I was annoyed that Kitty thought I had old facts when it happened that day. Can you not see she got on my case for posting "old facts" LOL. The page response she gave was unneccessary. A simple thank you for sharing and if you need to know about the Watch group here is some information would have sufficied!  I posted what had occured that day (it was hardly old news) and knowing it was in the neighborhood is sufficicent enough our neighborhoood isnt that big.There are plenty of neighborhoods much bigger. If this Kitty person keeps moaning and groaning and nagging people like this about posts not being sufficient enough for her she is going to deter people including myself from posting on this web site further.

Thank you for acknowledging that what I wrote was polite.  However, in some cases,  partial information is actually worse then no information.  The neighborhood obviously is big to a degree since we seem so distant from each other as is shown in the posts on this site, youyrs included, and sometimes even mine. 

I am one of the people in the Neighborhood Watch Leadership Group, and, trust me, we need all of the specific information that we can get - the operative words there are "all" and "specific." Timely specific information will keep us from being chasing shadows

I have not yet received the email from you that I requested so that you can be included in NW.  Your Block Captain informed me this morning that he has previously left flyers at each house on your street and knocked on each door to inform Tristan residents who their Block Captain and Alternate are.  He also gave me all of the details about your incident also which I passed on to Area and Block Captains.  He does a good job, so I don't know where the breakdown occurred that caused you to not know who your Block Captain is; but he said he would follow up and contact you personally. 

I hope that all future posts about this incident are constructive.
