A message from our President
One of the most positive aspects of a neighborhood association is that it allows people, residents of a specific area of a city, to collective unify and act on any particular idea and/or issue that is or which has the ability to affect a neighborhood?’s peace and prosperity. Your participation in a neighborhood association is thereby like your first- step local venue for addressing and achieving the ?“Will of the People?”. So, as a resident of the Memorial Park Community rather as a home owner, renter, and/or business owner you should know that the Memorial Park Neighborhood Association is committed and deeply involved in representing the Entire community while embracing our rich history. Therefore:

If you have:
A Issue u can?’t Resolve
A Problem you can?’t Solve
A Question you?’d like to have Answered
Or
An Idea you?’d like to make Reality-
Then, your neighborhood association is would like to hear from you!
&
For the record:
The Memorial Park Neighborhood has only 1 Association and if you have paid your dues to any other entity then your yearly dues have Not been paid and while we regret this misunderstanding and are taking the necessary steps to rectify this matter, we are asking everyone who has any questions concerning your yearly dues payment to please feel free to contact our office at 424-3420 with any questions and/or comments you may have.

Monthly Motivational Thought:
The best way to help yourself is by helping someone else!

Leaf pickup season will begin on Monday, October 16, 2006.
?• Each fall, the City Street Department provides curbside leaf pickup for City residents.
?• Leaves should be raked to the parkstrip area or placed in brown biodegradeable yard waste bags and set at the curb for collection. Please refrain from placing leaves in the ditch lines and between parked cars.
?• During leaf season, call the Leaf Hotline at 427-2302 for locations of where crews will be picking up leaves each day. Signs will also be posted at work locations.
?• If you use biodegradeable bags, call the Street Department at 427-1235 for pickup within two business days.
?• Please have your leaves ready for pickup on the first day of your scheduled week. The Street Department will be in your area sometime that week to collect your leaves, weather permitting.
