What's Going On!
The Memorial Park Neighborhood is busy identifying a mission, formulating a vision, and setting goals to determine its future, through the creation of a clear and practical strategy, which is establishing a plan for community growth that shall not seat on a desk, or in a cabinet collecting dust, but rather This Plan shall be used, so that the entire community will continue grow to meet its vision of safety, peace, and prosperity for Everyone!
Please Note:
Due to the Work that we are doing on the Community's Strategic Plan-
The Association is now meeting Twice a Month
Meetings are held on the:
First and Third Tuesday of each month
Meetings are taking place at:
Indiana Institute of Technology (IIT)
In the:
Abbott Center (Building with the Clock) 1st left turn off of Washington onto campus.
Main Door is located at the south end of building.
From: 6:30 till 8:00 p.m.

The 2005 Beautiful Yard Contest
Only a few more months and this year's contest will be wrapping up for the season. We hope that you've gotten your nominations in. We are really looking forward to announcing the winners!

Anyone wishing to have his or her lawn mowed or articles moved
For a very reasonable price

Good News!

We are glad to hear that Ms. Pickett is out of the hospital and doing well
Mr. Stiles is continuing to make progress on his book
&
For any other smiles and joys within our community that aren't mentioned-HURRRRRRRRRAY!

In Sympathy
We've had several members of our community lose family members and while we will not mention you by name please know that you are in are prayers, and if ever there is anything that we can do- we are only a phone call away-
Call us and we will be there!

Yearly Dues
Yearly dues allow us to support the monetary needs of the community.
If you haven't paid your dues for 2005 please do so by filling out the attached membership form.
You can mail your membership, have it picked up by one of the association officer's or make your payment during any one of our monthly meetings.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support!

What is
MPNASPC?
It is the Memorial Park Neighborhood Association Strategic Planning Committee. It's made up of various members of the community who have made the decision to dedicate themselves to the process of bettering our community by working together to create a plan that will stand as a guide to all future development in our particular part of the city.

Can anyone join the MPNASPC?
Yes- all you need to do is attend the regularly scheduled monthly meetings!

Your participation throughout this process would be sincerely appreciated.
Therefore, we would like to extend a special invitation welcoming you to send a representative, from your business, to serve on the Memorial Park Neighborhood Association Strategic Planning Committee.

Monthly Reminders:

The Yearly Regional Neighborhood Conference (RNCC):
Is taking place in September, anyone wishing to attend may do so, just let us know, and we'll be sure to update you on information as we receive it from the city.

Picnic Donations Needed:
Rides/Games for children, Food, Entertainment, Event Volunteers i.e. Security, Set-Up/Teardown.

Our community is only as good as we make it!
So, as we strive to make the community as great as it can be let's work to build each other up, let's work to create a positive roll model for our children and most of all let's consider one another and be considerate of each other.

Now that the summer months are here, many of you are going on vacation, so remember to let your neighbors know when you will be away and if possible, leave a contact number, so that you can be reached in case of an emergency.
