First off I want to wish all my neighbors and everyone that reads this community site a very good new year !
I resolve to do all that I can to make this neighborhood a nice place to live.
I will keep my house and property looking nice and help out my older neighbors who may need an extra hand.
I will update my phone list for the neighbors closest to me so we can all keep in touch in case of emergency.
I will do my best to pay a little more attention to anything that looks out of the ordinary or something suspicious.
Even if you are not fond of the ones you have, ''neighbors make the neighborhood'' and it is up to US to keep this area a nice place to live.

Resolutions for 2008

Thanks you for the nice letter. We too hope that you all have a great 2008! With just a little bit of work, we can keep our Colonial Acres neighborhood looking good and increase in value. We also help with our elderly neighbors house and yard. He comes out and helps when he can and we all have a great time socializing. I think and would encourage all of us to be out more often walking, visiting, etc., anything to been seen by the ''unwanted'' individuals and as a way to make and keep our neighborhood safer.

A nice thought

Good thoughts and wishes only happen when they are put into action. I wish the original writer a good new years too along with the rest of my neighbors.
The best deterrent is for you to know your neighbors and watch out for them.
You would want them to do the same thing for you if you were gone...
