Beware and be extra cautious!:

2 of our vehicles got broken into last night, parked in our driveway, close to house, well lit even with Christmas lights still on!

We live at 2525 Hawkhurst (south of Maccinness).

One vehicle was a high tech alarmed ''office on wheels'' - so to speak - with lots of expensive self owned business equipment inside, most all stolen....the alarm failed to work.

The other was rummaged through and had a big box of wrapped personal Christmas gifts for out of town family stolen, that were packaged and ready to drop at UPS first thing this a.m. valued at a couple hundred dollars.

Thankfully noone was hurt. While it will be financially hard to replace these things that were taken, they are simply material things, not living.

Police officer came w/in an hour to take report.
