Table Topics - Worksheet

Time: you have approx.20 minutes to discuss 3 or 4 topics, which is about 5 minutes per topics, some more, some less, depending upon interest.

Remember, you want to hear what the audience has to say. This is not your time to give lengthy comments on the topics yourself. Keep it moving. Use these headings to write in your idea for topic in each category.

1. Human Interest or Lighter Topic ( examples: sports, food, recreation, etc. )

2. Current Events Topic: ( world news, politics, crime, economics, war, social issues, etc. )

3. Bible or Christian Living Topic: ( a scripure to clarify, a doctrine to discuss, something about God's greatness, or living and endurinh as a christian in certain tests, tempations, or sins; etc. )

The bible topic will be about the two speeches last month. Introduce this topic as follows: " Last meeting, _________ and _________ gave speeches on the Bible topics explained in GCI articles:

_____________ and ____________ . What did you learn from the these speeches, and what was not made clear to you, if anything.

4. Wild Card Topic ( if there is time ): If you have time for a fourth topic, repeat one of the types above, or some other topic you think will be interesting, informative, stimulating, or controversial.
