Volunteers are desperately needed for a Neighborhood Watch Program.
In the last Newsletter, it was stated that the Jacksonville Sheriff?’s Office requires at least 40% participation of a neighborhood in order to establish a program.
Unfortunately, there are not enough people responding to the previous article.
Since safety is such an important aspect for any community, the Board will dedicate a portion of the Annual Meeting for sign ups.
The leaders, or Captains, for the Neighborhood Watch will be designated at the Annual Meeting if we have a good turn out.
Hopefully, there will be enough people to volunteer at the Annual Meeting for our community to start this great program.
The Neighborhood Watch Program will work with the Violations and Security Committee to provide Merrill Pines a better sense of security.
Attend this meeting or contact the Violations and Security Chair, Jason Bifolck, at merrillpinesboard@hotmail.com if you are interested in volunteering for the Neighborhood Watch.
