Meeting Notes May 15, 2003

First Meeting in New School

We had a great turnout at the meeting and school tour. About 25 people toured the beautiful new school and about 50 came to the meeting. Cate and Beth, new co-presidents did a wonderful job. We heard from the Jasper about the creek stewardship and Country Club irrigation pond, the police told us about everything they are doing in the area including cleaning up the Birchcroft Apartments, we heard from Park and Rec about the upcoming Merry Oaks School Campus park, and Cate and Beth told us about the "Hands on Merry Oaks' initiative, Sunday at Cate's and the June 7th MONA day-- neighborhood yard sale and block party. Stay tuned!
