The pilot program for 2005 is finished but there is a new 2006 grant for Briar Creek and Irwin Creek areas. This program provided up to 75% reimbursement (up to $3000) for homeowners in Briar Creek watershed to remove invasive plants, use rainbarrels, etc. Jason Cathey (who took Erin's place) states that they are improving the system and should be geared up again in October. Hold applications for now as they will publicize the new program as soon as available. Maybe in time for our Oct. meeting??
