I am getting new internet service. My options are Wyan. cable or sbc-yahoo dsl. Any suggestions as to which is better? Those with Wyan. Cable, are you happy? SBC is 29.95 vs. cable 39.95. But, you can cancel cable at any time. SBC is 1 year contract. I am willing to spend the extra 10 dollars if it is worth it. Please enlighten me.

on the cancellation policy for Wyandotte Cable. If you are receiving the free installation I ''think'' you have to sign a year contract. We did a year ago.

Did you ask Wyandotte Cable if they would match SBC-DSL price per month?

It use to be that Wyandotte Cable, they hook up for you, SBC they send you the package and you do the installation.

We've had both. We had DSL for four years PRIOR to Wyandotte getting their own cable. To be honest with you, I am thinking that SBC has a faster connection.

Regardless of which one you choose, you will LOVE always being on line and not having your phone line tied up!

We had Wyandotte Cable for years and it was slow and always locking up on us. Finally we switched to SBC and it is faster and no more locking up. It works better for us.

DSL

DSL through SBC/Ameritech is the way to go. Fast and friendly service. One time had to have a rep come out. I called on a Friday night and She was out here 1st thing at 0900a. Can't beat that. And by the way I've been a user for over 2 yrs.
