Civic FYIs: Issues and Reminders
No Solicitation Signs - Installed
The highly-reflective signs are posted at each of the three entrances to the nighborhood. A special thank you to all those involved in making this happen!
Parking - Reminders
Neighbors have asked to remind the community about parking:
-
Please park in our driveways and be considerate of the amount of cars you regularly park on the streets. Deed restrictions are specific about parking only on paved areas, not lawns or grassy areas.
-
Remember that boats and trailers need to be kept elsewhere, not in our driveways and streets.
-
You should always park in the direction of the traffic flow. If you are hosting an event such as a graduation or birthday party, please remind your guests that there are plenty of cul-de-sacs to turn around in. It is also a traffic offense to park opposite the flow of traffic.
Social FYIs: Opportunities and Reminders
Playgroups
If you are interested in participating in the neighborhood playgroup and possibly hosting a playgroup for ages 0-4, please send an email to mrxcommunity@yahoo.com with your name, phone and names, ages of your children.
Community Hay Ride - November
We are tentatively planning a hay ride for the community in late November. More details to come on this. It was a great success last year.
Halloween Parade - October 24th @ 4PM - REMINDER
We have over 30 children registered to participate! Remember to join us at the cul-de-sac at the top of Mute Swan at 4PM. We will march down Mute Swan to M-Dove field. Games, photos and snacks will be available. Bring your spookiest self!
If you did not register, you can still march in the parade. However, the activities will be limited to the number of walk-ins we can accomodate at a cost of $2/child.
Fitness Invitation - Moore Than Fitness, LLC

From your neighbor, Stacey Marks: HEY LADIES, interested in a workout bootcamp, right here in the Middle Run Crossing area? Moore Than Fitness, LLC is coming to our area and designing a bootcamp for STAY AT HOME MOMS or other ladies who are available at the time they will offer the bootcamp.

Check out the survey by following the link below. When you complete the survey, you will receive a confirmation email from them as well as a free meal plan and workout video. Once they receive enough respondents, they will be able to contact you directly about start times for the bootcamp.

Joyce and James Moore have an awesome program that does work. My husband, has completed their bootcamp (thru their bootcamp program at his work) and lost over 40 pounds. I have lost 15 pounds by just following their meal plans. It's an easy healthy eating plan-a truly easy way of life! I am excited to be able to workout without having to go to a crowded gym and find my way around by myself. Joyce is looking into locations in our area to meet with us and offer training 5 days a week for a month (or more). Check out the survey and hopefully you can join me in training with Joyce!
