Middle Village Neighborhood Association

Summer's about to begin, and every lot, up and down Central Street, here in Middle Earth, has cut their grass! The assesments by the city for landlords who do not choose to make their tenants take care of the yards must be causing this VERY positive result. The city crew cut the lawn across the street from me twice last year. This year somebody has cut the lawn a couple of times without the help of the city crew.

The youth planting/beautification project will add to the neighborhood as well.  Their sunflowers grown from seed are ready to be planted to cheer up some highly visible spots.  If anyone has climbing flowers, we would also like to do some terrace plantings around light poles.
