If today would be the ''Day of 100,000 Thanks'' for our neighbors to express a word of thanks to any neighbor, fellow employee or city and state employee that have shown kindness or helped them. One hundred thousand cards could be printed and each neighbor would be given 2 cards to thoughtfully fill out.
These could be written by students or parents to the teachers, janitors, principals, secretaries, cooks, bus drivers, aides, volunteers, trash collectors, neighbors and others selected.
It would take less than 10 minutes to complete the activity and ten minutes to deliver the cards, but they'd create a wonderful sense of timely gratitude for all involved.
I am sure someone like your neighbors helped shovel, push a car or do something a little extra to make your day a bit easier.
Will you write just two cards today?
Cool Idea

I did a couple of cards to some pickle faced people and blew a few folks away...and me too..

the idea really works

Where I work at Shea High School, I would need about 85 cards of thanks to recognize the great people who work in the building. However, two people, my favorite janitor, Mr. Sabatini, and the great nurse, Mrs. Riley, deserved special thanks for helping my students in a wonderful way. Then again, if I had to thank all the great teachers my teenage sons had in the Pawtucket School System, I would need several hundred cards. Thanks for the great idea, Arthur.
Whether two or 85 cards....

It is one step at a time....
