MPM Property Management Company, aka
Gregory Cueter, will not allow the following to take place regardless of
Michigan Acts, Bylaws, Article of Incorporation:
- any co-owner to review their financial books
- the president of the condo association to run the annual meeting
- any co-owner to call their office; you must email, fax or write a letter
regardless if you're able
- the date of the condo association's annual meeting to take place as stated in
the Bylaws
- cooperative and informed customer service people working in the office
- the Board complete information in order to make an intelligent decision
- anyone to ask questions
- anyone to get the honest answer
- anyone to be smarter than him
- the property manager to hire his own lawyer and instead uses the
Association's attorney to defend his negligent position on matters that are
clearly stated and outlined in the Michigan Condominium Act of 1978 and the
Association's Master Deed/Bylaws

I wish I had done some research prior to get into the condo managed by MPM lacking of management. They really don't manage nothing besides collecting monthly dues from the home owners. Shame on them.
I live in the Meadowfield complex in Rochester. We had to complain for two years to have the drive repaired. They hired a contractor to put in a new roof, with a new roof vent at the peak - except my unit has no access to the vent. They installed it too far to the one side of the peak. I had a contractor state this for the record and they had their own contractor come up with the same conclusion. MPM told me that I would have to pay to have separate vents put it in as it would be considered an upgrade. The paint is peeling off of my unit from the heat and looks horrible. My air conditioning costs are very high. The upper floor units have the clothing dryers vent into the attics creating an incredible amount of lint that gains access to the units below. The lint just blows into the attic! Again, I am told to fix this would be considered an upgrade for which I would have to pay. I would never live in a MPM managed condo again and can only hope to be able to move out of this one.
This company is awful. We pay an association fee and they do nothing. There are weeds all over the property (Shelby Woods North Condos at 22 between Van Dyke and Schoenner, you can hear thru the walls, When it snows they do not plow right away, The pavement is breaking up and cracking all over, the gutters and rain spouts are not cleaned at all so we have a ton of water damage both inside and outside. The builder does nothing and he is buddies with the management company and they just sit back and collect the money. Do not move into a Lasalle Homes condo it's bad news and if MPM is the Mgmt company make sure to stay away.
Metro Property Management, a.k.a. Metro Property Management, a.k.a. MPM is the WORST property management company of all time!!! They are quick to take your money and slow on maintenence or repairs! MPM managers are neglegent and will flat-out ignore your requests for repairs of any kind, including roof or basement leaks! They don't gove a dam about their customers and the managers take kickbacks on all contracts. Their corruption keeps them in court. They run and hide when you try to find them. They have locks on their office doors and if they know it you, they will not buzz you in! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

I live in Westcreek Estates and I could not be more pleased with this condo management company. They provide a great service at a very low fee. The Company is also very responsive to the needs of the community.

I am a current occupant at Admirals Cove in Chesterfield. I really don't know why I am paying an association fee!!! They mow the lawn once every 1 1/2 weeks! They plow the streets and driveways 1-2 days after a snowfall (if at all)!!!
