MPM Property Management Company, aka
Gregory Cueter, will not allow the following to take place regardless of
Michigan Acts, Bylaws, Article of Incorporation:

- any co-owner to review their financial books

- the president of the condo association to run the annual meeting

- any co-owner to call their office; you must email, fax or write a letter
regardless if you're able

- the date of the condo association's annual meeting to take place as stated in
the Bylaws

- cooperative and informed customer service people working in the office

- the Board complete information in order to make an intelligent decision

- anyone to ask questions

- anyone to get the honest answer

- anyone to be smarter than him

- the property manager to hire his own lawyer and instead uses the
Association's attorney to defend his negligent position on matters that are
clearly stated and outlined in the Michigan Condominium Act of 1978 and the
Association's Master Deed/Bylaws

MPM is lacking of managing the property

I wish I had done some research prior to get into the condo managed by MPM lacking of management. They really don't manage nothing besides collecting monthly dues from the home owners. Shame on them.

Bad Management

I live in the Meadowfield complex in Rochester. We had to complain for two years to have the drive repaired.  They hired a contractor to put in a new roof, with a new roof vent at the peak - except my unit has no access to the vent. They installed it too far to the one side of the peak. I had a contractor state this for the record and they had their own contractor come up with the same conclusion.  MPM told me that I would have to pay to have separate vents put it in as it would be considered an upgrade. The paint is peeling off of my unit from the heat and looks horrible. My air conditioning costs are very high. The upper floor units have the clothing dryers vent into the attics creating an incredible amount of lint that gains access to the units below. The lint just blows into the attic! Again, I am told to fix this would be considered an upgrade for which I would have to pay. I would never live in a MPM managed condo again and can only hope to be able to move out of this one.

BAD NEWS-Lasalle Homes and MPM Management

This company is awful.  We pay an association fee and they do nothing.  There are weeds all over the property (Shelby Woods North Condos at 22 between Van Dyke and Schoenner, you can hear thru the walls, When it snows they do not plow right away, The pavement is breaking up and cracking all over, the gutters and rain spouts are not cleaned at all so we have a ton of water damage both inside and outside.  The builder does nothing and he is buddies with the management company and they just sit back and collect the money.  Do not move into a Lasalle Homes condo it's bad news and if MPM is the Mgmt company make sure to stay away.

    This is, without a doubt, the worst management company in the world. They are stealing from their associations and the sad reality is that the association boards consist of people who do not really want to be doing the job but nobody else will. The president is biased against young people and the disabled. He refuses to fix things inside individual units that are the direct result of items he is responsible for on the outside of the units. Additionally, he chooses with whom he will enforce the rules and who he allows to slip thru the cracks. IF you are looking for condo living and you see that MPM is the management company RUN LIKE HELL!!!!!

    After reading all of these comments, I see that Bear Creek Condo is not the only one to have bad service from MPM. I just got on the web to check who to contact since we have 6 inches of snow and nobody shoveling or plowing yet (it is 9:35pm). And to think that our monthly rates went up...for what I wonder!!!!!

    MPM is a joke. Its Friday morning of the 4th of July weekend and the grass in the entire complex has not been cut for 14 days now. In places it is 8-10 inches tall. MPM has ben told about this and always says we are looking into it. I think its time they step up to the plate and do their job. The snow removal is terrible also. I am sure their lawns are better kept. Maybe if Cueter would get off his ass and check out the condition of the properties he manqages the services he hires wouldnt be so crappy. After all, my monthly dues help pay for these services and I would have fired them all for failure to perform their jobs including MPM.

    At mill creek we have no lawns its all types of weeds or bare dirt.  They replaced some of the lawn and it’s a joke image your lawn full of weeds you went in the center of it and only replaced a little section. That is MPM Greg Cueter does things. Half ass.

    Our condo complex was originally managed by Stamper & Company. After two years, our complex was almost bankrupt. The Board hired MPM to manage and within two years, we were not only up-to-date on all our payables but we had money in the bank. In 22 years of living in this complex, we have only had one special assessment for roof replacements due to the fact that our builder used shoddy materials and workmanship, causing the need to replace the roofs after only 12-14 years. Due to MPM's effective management, the only increase in association fees that we have had in the last 5 years was a $5 increase at the beginning of this year. They have done a fantastic job with our place and I would highly recommend MPM any time.

    Sounds to me like these problems you have are the fault of the builder -- not the company that manages the complex. The people at MPM aren't magicians - they can only work within your complex's budget!!!!

    This group is unprofessional, and has extremely poor communication with its clients. The poor attitude comes from the top of the organization and is filtered to the employees. Hiring this group will only spell disaster for your condo association.

    I used to live at the Colony Condos in Clinton Twp off of Hall Road near lakeside mall and I had terrible experiences with this company.  they would provide new windows to some residences but not others.  the president was so rude to me and and treated me badly when I asked him if it would be aright to post "lost cat" sign on the mail boxess and he stated  something like who cares if you lost your cat "no signs at all allowed".  He was so rude and I was heart broken but I put the signs anyways and I did find my cat.  I hated living there because of this management.

Metro Property Management, a.k.a. Metro Property Management, a.k.a. MPM is the WORST property management company of all time!!!  They are quick to take your money and slow on maintenence or repairs!  MPM managers are neglegent and will flat-out ignore your requests for repairs of any kind, including roof or basement leaks!  They don't gove a dam about their customers and the managers take kickbacks on all contracts.  Their corruption keeps them in court.  They run and hide when you try to find them.  They have locks on their office doors and if they know it you, they will not buzz you in!  AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

I am a current occupant at Admirals Cove in Chesterfield.  I really don't know why I am paying an association fee!!!  They mow the lawn once every 1 1/2 weeks!  They plow the streets and driveways 1-2 days after a snowfall (if at all)!!!
