DO YOU REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, OR DO YOU JUST LET IT SLIDE??

Residents of a neighborhood, including Miller, should increase awareness of their surroundings and report suspicious activity to local law enforcement. A quick, accurate description of events, vehicles, and persons can make all the difference in apprehending a potential criminal. ALL activities or circumstances that seem unusual (even if it is after the fact) should be reported.
Some examples are:

?– A stranger loitering in your neighborhood or a vehicle cruising the streets repeatedly.

?– Someone peering into cars or the windows of a home.

?– A high volume of traffic going to and coming from a home on a daily basis.

?– Someone loitering around schools, parks or secluded areas.

?– Strange odors coming from a house or building.

?– Open or broken doors and windows at a closed business or an unoccupied residence.

?– Someone tampering with electrical, gas or sewer systems without an identifiable company vehicle and uniform.

The police liaison for this area has stressed that if EVERYONE would feel free to be a little nosy and report any and all suspicious activity, it would help considerably in keeping crime activity down.

situation you are in or are seeing is an emergency, call 911.

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR HOUSE NUMBER IS VISIBLE FROM THE STREET SO THAT EMERGENCY CREWS WILL NOT LOSE ANY TIME LOCATING YOUR HOUSE.
