I have just recently moved to the neighborhood and since my arrival I've noticed the high rate of speed at which vehicles travel along 55th street. I've witnessed two accidents at the intersection of 55th and Center so far this Summer. Before a child is killed along this stretch of road, steps must be taken to force motorist to slow down. Vehicles, on average, travel through this area around 40 mph. Many top 45 easily. How can this be stopped?
