We will not be hosting a monthly community conversation at the Ward
office in July. Instead, on July 18th, we hosted a graffiti abatement
training.
Big thanks to Robert Sheinaus and the ten neighborhoods represented for
that early-morning event: Limberlost, Hedrick Acers, El Cortez, Mountain
First, Coronado Heights, La Madera, Cottonwood, Oak Flower, Mountain
View, and Keeling.
We provided each neighborhood in attendance with a graffiti abatement
kit comprised of a bucket containing safety glasses, scouring pads,
solvent-proof gloves, nylon bristle brush, razor scraper, solvents, shop
towels, rags and corrective spray paint.
Given the wonderful response to this first training, as well as the
high priority graffiti abatement continues to be across the City, we are
pleased that Tucson Clean and Beautiful has asked us to partner with the
Ward 3 office to hold future trainings for residents/businesses. We
will keep you posted as those events are scheduled.
Please stay in touch between now and our August Community Conversation,
which will be held on Monday, August 31st, 6 p.m., at the Ward 3
office.
