I am applying for a grant for start up costs for our association. Please add your input as to how we should budget this money which is a requirement in the request proposal. Thanks

Hi Ron,

We only went to one meeting and I don't know if you discussed this at a prior meeting. What are your plans for the $800? It seems that a post office box, letterhead, stationery would be the basic stuff that I can think of. Some kind of desktop published brochure to hand out to recruit members and maybe leave at neighborhood centers like the library. Maybe a translator to translate the brochure and other documents for some residents.

I'll be quite interested to know what the others come up with.

Start Up Costs Grant

I agree with Elsie's suggestions and also think insights may come from contacting other associations such as Golf View Assoc.
Would more ''Cabrillo Park'' signs such as on 65th and 68th Ave be appropriate at Florin on Amhurst, 17th St., Cromwell, and 21st St.? There also should signs on Hennrietta at 68th Ave. and on northbound Amhurst and 21st St. at 68th Ave. Let's demark the neighborhood.
