I just wanted to ask for some tips on being a new parent. I am 33 years old and I do not have any children of my own but recent circumstances has changed that and I now have the pleasure of being a stepmother to an 8 year old boy.
I am not sure of my duties besides the normal care and supervision that a child his age needs.
I am getting pretty worn out trying to entertain him from 2:30pm (when I pick him up from elementary school) until his father comes home at 7pm.
Please provide me with any kind information or activities that we can enjoy or just advice.
