The “bottom line” reason our Homeowners Association (HOA) exists is to insure that our neighborhood stays a safe, peaceful and valuable place to live.
The “Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions” (CC&R’s) are the guiding documents that articulate a common standard for our “community of properties”.
The “uniting bond” we all have in common is the “ownership of property” in this neighborhood. Every homeowner is concerned about the VALUE of their property. We all signed an agreement to obey the CC&R’s when we bought our houses with the understanding that every other homeowner made the same commitment.
The HOA Board is tasked with the responsibility of enforcing the CC&R’s in accordance with the Homeowners Association Bylaws. In order to operate in a fair and equitable manner a “Compliance Policy” and a “Violation Procedure” was established. These documents outline “how” the HOA Board enforces the CC&R’s.
The current HOA Board serves voluntarily and is made up of Homeowners, just like you. It is the Board’s express intent to handle any CC&R violation in a FRIENDLY and HELPFUL manner. We operate from the belief that most people want to uphold the community standard and respect the wishes and privacy of their fellow neighbors. If there is a CC&R violation it is because the Homeowner was not aware it was against the rules.
Our beautiful private mountainside community, with beautiful panoramic views and easy 101 Freeway access, has the potential to increase dramatically in value in the future. In the spirit of cooperation, let’s all work together to keep our community compliant to the community standard.
