We have been very fortunate to have hard-working members. Since our foundation in October, 2006 our members have done door-to-door distributions, attended leadership workshops, written grants, made strong neighborhood contacts, and completed hours of research.
Want to help?
As a newly formed group there are many opportunities to provide help. We are looking for block captains, neighborhood watch members, grant committees, website committees, and program volunteers. Strapped for time?
Volunteer as much or as little time as you are able to...or just come, meet with us, and give us some pointers?—your constructive opinions are important!!
We will be looking for block captains at our April meeting. Block captains are responsible for communication to their assigned area?—the more block captains, the less area one individual has to cover.
We will also be looking for committee members. Currently, the grant and website committees are looking for participants. As members of these committees you would be responsible to look over, construct, and maintain information for grant writing and our website.
Unable to attend meetings?
We can be contacted on the web, where the individual information for the Board of Directors can be accessed. You will be kept up-to-date through our mailings and newsletters. We also maintain contact by telephone!
