We will be delivering the newsletters by the first of every month. We need volunteers to hand them out to every address in their immediate area.

If you are interested, please contact one of the Neighborhood Officers, and we will coordinate the deliveries with you.

areas that need volunteers

We've tried to break the neighborhood up into smaller 'zones' so that no one has to spend too much time and effort delivering the newsletter. Below are the zones, and a volunteer's name if there already is one. Please let me know if you will commit to deliver one of the others.

Grand to Watson, 32nd north: Lori

Grand to Watson, 29th to 32nd: Mary

Watson to Neals, 29th to 33rd:

Grand to Watson, 26th to 29th: Amoreena

Watson to Norris, 26th to 29th, and 29th street, Watson to east end:

Neals north, 26th to 29th, and appartments east of Neals north: Judith

Grand to Watson, 4th Plain to 26th: Del

Watson to Howard, 4th Plain to 26th, and 26th street, Watson to east end: Heather

Neals south, 4th Plain to 26th, and appartments east of Neals south: Irene

4th Plain north side businesses, Grand to evergreen park:

Rossiter and all apartments on it: Jennifer & Danielle

changing the newsletter

I'm contemplating changing the newsletter by making it 2 different items with different goals:

First, a quarterly that gives all of the information about what the board and the city have been doing, with focus on getting it delivered to all the single residences in the lower-residential areas.

Second, special editions that focus on a single upcoming event - such as the spring cleanup, the summer picnic, and the fall dumpster day - with focus on getting it to all the residences within our boundaries.
