Spring has sprung. School will soon be or is already out for some and Summer is upon us. We need to do everything possible to make sure all in our neighborhood have a safe summer. Children will be out playing so please drive with caution down our neighborhood streets. Stop at all intersections even if there are no stop or yield signs. It is better to be safe than sorry.

We have a new adjoining neighborhood. It is called Hope Crossing and it is a Habitat for Humanities Community. We welcome them into this area.

Let us remember to keep up our lawns and property this summer and to beautify. When we keep up our property, it makes the entire neighborhood look good.

All families, regardless to whether you rent or own, are a part of our neighborhood. We invite everyone who resides in Musgrave to come and be part of our Neighborhood meetings and bring your suggestions, comments and ideas to help make this the greatest neighborhood in Oklahoma City.

According to the Crime Reports that we get monthly, crime has been down. If you see criminal activity or something that looks suspicious, please call the police. This is one way to keep our community safe. If you want to remain anonymous when you call, call 231-2121. It is 911, but the operator does not know who is calling. The number is designated for people who do not want to be identified when calling 911.

In August we will celebrate "Nation Night Out". A block party or other events will be planned so neighbors can get to know each other and to heighten the awareness of crime prevention in our neighborhood. More information will be forthcoming regarding the event.

We hope to see you at our next regularly scheduled Neighorhood meeting which will be June 7, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Christian Faith Baptist Church, 500 E. Wilshire. Please come out and support where you live.
