I for one have no clue who you are, but I commend you on your ability to try and ask for accountability from the HOA. In fact, I really liked your attempt to explain your side of why you feel the way you do and then add in an analogy with the fast food (in case overly slow people didn't "get" the direct answer at first).

Keep on doing what you do. People like me appreciate the "watching each others backs" ideology.

Whether its the HOA, gas station, fast food, schools, or whatever else you spend you hard earned money for.... are you going to allow them to make a profit off of you because it's a small thing? I bet you would be putting up a fight if this was SRP charging you $8000 for a months electric bill, right? Think about it and then tell anyone on this discussion board that they are wrong to be angry. Personally, I do not operate like doormat since this economy gave some people the brilliant idea to screw other people over. NOT ME, NO MORE!!!

At a minimum, Oasis needs to go. We need a fresh start with a new company. Not the same ole stuff. 

 To quote Obama, "We need a change we can believe in!"

Who are you commenting on being on the board? Poppi? If you meant me, then you are mistaken. I am not on the board. I didn't know if your post just went after mine, or if you were referig to my comments.

BTW.... just an FYI..... I got a letter from Oasis saying they got my payment and I sent to to the wrong address and my paymetn is not yet posted... been awhile since I sent it. May just be the longer processing time since it went to the wrong adress (the one they listed in the fancy letter of where to send payments and the corrected amount to send). Who knows, I just know I will be paying a personal visit to the office of Oasis if I get a frickin' late bill and lien letter! I'll keep you all posted! :)
