Concert Noise Levels/City Ordinance

The Gardens concert series is bound by a city noise ordinance which reqires that outdoor events not exceed a 55 dBa average during a fifteen minute period, measured at the property line of the Gardens.
During the concert season, a sound wall is installed at the south end of the amphitheatre to minimize the sound. The Gardens contracts for sound monitoring to assure compliance with the city ordinance.
