Gifted Kids helpers for Parents and Teachers-

Looking for help for kids who are gifted www.hoagiesgifted.org . They have lots of information on all aspects of giftedness and are a great place to start, especially like their reading list, at www.hoagiesgifted.org , and maybe ideas for their special book club!

IQ tests administered by a professional specializing in gifted kids can be a gateway to getting enrichment services but you need a specialist, as gifted kids can sometimes test poorly under inappropriate conditions. Even if you decide that the gifted label doesn't fit, the relative scores in the subtests will be helpful information as one gets older.
