Free Tobacco Cessation Classes for the uninsured

RIHCA is recruiting participants for free tobacco treatment/smoking cessation classes.



· The classes are targeted for the uninsured and include free NRT if participants want to use the patch, gum or lozenge.

· Classes typically meet one hour per week for 8 weeks.

· Classes are facilitated by Tobacco Treatment Specialists (TTS) who have received specialized training.

· Facilitators are committed to creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment for smokers ready to tackle quitting.

· We will be adding additional locations in the future.

· Those interested in a specific class need to call the contact listed to schedule an intake session.
