PLMP, Love Peace and other groups like these are at Shea, but we need a more far reaching confirmation from the schools, city and neighbors to put into place a peace thinking citywide group like in Woodlawn . It can not be just pointing fingers...ISPN was doing Nonviolence trainings for youth at Jenks for years with results, and yet budget $ have forced this to drop. Maybe dollars or creative solurtions can get these positive things redone for our future.

There are several groups promoting peace in Pawtucket. Some of the kids I know are really cool and a great credit to us.

Few fights at local h.s. 1/30

Dear John,

Check with your neighbors. Several fights happened at area high schools in the past two days. Hope the fights ease up. Maybe it's the love flu from Valentine's Day. What has anybody else heard?
