For those who missed the gathering tonite at the Fruit Street site, you missed viewing a treasure, but if you want to check on some Pawtucket history, thanks to the Library and betty Johnson, we are blessed to have these refences and pictures to dream way back...so got a Pawtucket query?

Dear Arthur and friends,

Was Sam Slater's home torn down by urban renewal in 1936?  What other Pawtucket historical sites were actually demolished by the wrecking ball, other than the Leroy Theater?

By the way, where is Sam Slater and Joseph Jenks and their families buried?

Peace,

JimSmile

I have passes the information along, but anyone can call the Pawtucket Library reference section or even Paul Mowrey at the Pawtucket Preservation Society on Park Place may have some clues to your Pawtucket history question..
