It was wonderful to see Senator Reed, Mrs Carcieri and Miss RI join the Postmaster Doyle and DEA's Russo with Liz Morancey of Alzheimer Association to unveil the new stamp.
I just attended earlier this morning, the first day ceremonies at the State House for the postal service issuing the Alzheimer's stamp. They are designed beautifully & very special as all who have shared an experience with a friend, relative or someone with alzheimers or caring for someone with this strange memory disease.
You might want to buy a few stamps at your local post office- at only the regular 42 cent price to share, keep or raise awareness of this terrible disease affecting someone every 72 seconds.
