Move to this neighborhood 1 year ago, and already broken into.  Thieves made of with all gold jewley and cash.  They broke through back door, then the 2 apartment doors.  Crime took place July 17, 2012 and reported to Pawtucket Police.  No leads.  Be vigilant if you live in this neighbord.

Summer is the time that thieves prowl more. Many neighbors can help be the eyes and ears as well as a security check of doors and windows. Police will help too.

Time to ask the Pawt Police CPU to help discuss a local crime watch with neighbors. Happy to assist as well

 KIP understands everyone has been disturbed by the recent violence in our community. Please come to Knowledge is Power's community meeting. We would like to start planning our annual Nonviolence Awareness Block Party coming up this August. We also would like to recruit young adults to take a training from the Institute for the Study & Practice of Nonviolence. We need a massive amount of people to be trained in nonviolence so that we can come up with idea's to curb the violence and save our community.  We are also planning a peace March for this coming October, with the young adults of Pawtucket and Central Falls.We want to show our youth the unity in our community instead of all the negativity that has been glorified in recent incidents. I would love for everyone to get involved. The meeting is Thursday July 26th at 6pm at the Woodlawn CDC and on July 31 Tuesday at 12pm. With the block party approaching ( August 26) KIP will be hosting a community meeting as many times as possible. Every Thursday at 6pm and every Tuesday at 12pm from here until August 26, 2012 KIP will be conducting  Community meetings. Hope that you can come and join this nonviolent movement.
