Hey cable guy you are not alone.  My reception sucks also.  Any luck with the cable company?  New neighbor here. 

Possibly.  After letters (and a sample video) to the company execs in St. Louis, to our city council person and the mayor's office, the Star-News and the Pasadena Weekly, a senior tech was dispatched to the house where they replaced an amp and some wiring.  Our internet signal is now being monitored since it was also problematic.

That was last week.  Now we are waiting to see if there is any significant and prolonged improvement.  It seems the reception is better so far.  The internet is still iffy.

Our fingers are crossed.
