2008 Gift Of Giving Food Drive

2008 Gift Of Giving Food Drive is collecting food commodities, food products, non-alcholic beverages, food baskets and toiletries throughout the year to help support The Gift Of Giving Feed The Hungry Program. Food donations can be dropped off at the organization's food donation box located at 17148 Waltham, Detroit, MI 48205. Monetary donations are also accepted online at www.tgoahhct.org.

2008 Coats & Boots Campaign

The Gift Of Giving 2008 Coats & Boots Campaign. The campaign is collecting new coats and new boots to help clothe over 1000 needy children residing in distressed communities throughout metropolitan Detroit, Michigan and other Wayne counties.

The program will distribute new coats and new boots to needy children for back to school and/or during the holiday seasons. The program will serve Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties.

The program was implemented since 80% of households lives at or below the poverty rate in southeastern Michigan and other Wayne counties, and many of these children does not have a coat and/or boots to carry them through the winter months, so we seek your support in helping us to provide these needy children with a new coat and new boots for the winter months.

2008 Gift Of Giving Toy Drive

We need you to help support the 2008 Gift Of Giving Toy Drive. The Gift Of Giving New Toys For Needy Children is a seasonal project implemented to provide needy children in the state of Michigan with new toys to be placed under their Christmas tree during the holidays. The Gift Of Giving Toy Drive collects new toys annually and help support The Gift Of Giving New Toys For Needy Children Program. The program mission is to give underprivileged and underserved children the opportunity to receive new toys on Christmas Day, since 80% of household in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan lives at or below the poverty-rate.

This year for 2008 our organization will be providing new toys for over 1000 economically disadvantaged children this year. The program will serve homeless children residing in The Gift Of A Helping Hand Emergency Shelter and other homeless shelter throughout metropolitan Detroit, Michigan and other Wayne counties. At least 60% of the homeless population is single mothers with children and 0.4% of the homeless population is single mother leaving out of domestic violence situations. Without your support these needy children will not have toys for Christmas Day. We need your assistance and support in providing toys for needy children for the holidays.

So help us and make a monetary donation and/or in-kind donation of gift cards and/or toys to help bring a smile on a needy child’s face on Christmas Day.
