Just a reminder that our second master plan meeting for the renovation of Clark Park and Pool is tomorrow (Wednesday May 14, 2008 starting at 6:30 PM) at the Westside center 715 W 5th street.
The initial 6 plans created at the Feb. 2008 meeting have been condensed to 3 conceptual plans. From the 3 plans presented tomorrow, we will need to create one plan.
This is a VERY IMPORTANT meeting, attendance is greatly encouraged if you want a say in the future of our community park!

Hello all,

The second master plan meeting was last night and thank you to everyone who took time out to voice their opinions and ideas for the future of our park!
The three concept plans for the park and three aquatic plans for the pool will be available (soon) on the Tempe web site under parks and Rec./ construction.
Today the issue review session at the city council will be discussing four bond election options. Bonds help to create the funding for park renovations. As the master plan/renovation process is a lengthily one it is very important to ensure funding for the changes our community would like to see happen at Clark Park and pool. For more information on the 4 bond election options , go to Tempe.GOV city council, issue review session formal agenda.
Please let the council know which bond option you support to make sure funds are available for the renovation of Clark Park!

Thank you for being good neighbors!

For all those who want to see the 3 concept ideas for the park and the three ideas for the pool area.
The pool ideas all fit in each of the 3 park concepts.
The most popular pool plans were "A" and "B".
